Breach figures are from IBM's Cost of a Data Breach Report 2026, published 29 July 2026, based on 602 organizations breached between March 2025 and February 2026: $4.99M global average, $11.5M United States average, approximately $6M for AI-enabled breaches, $5.89M for prompt-injection breaches, $6.07M for model-inversion breaches, and a $5.39M against $4.63M difference where shadow AI was involved. Credential-compromise figures are derived from Sysdig LLMjacking research: the observed case is roughly $50,000 of stolen compute in 4.5 days from a single monitored proxy, and the modelled maximum of $46,000 per day is Sysdig's calculated ceiling rather than a measured victim loss. We label it that way because several vendors do not. This tool produces an order-of-magnitude illustration to support a budget conversation. It is not a risk model, an actuarial estimate or a quotation.
